Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have several scholarships and bursaries funded by donors who share our commitment to providing learning opportunities to help our boys grow into confident and compassionate men.

Academic scholarships

Applications for Academic scholarships are currently closed.

The St Joseph’s College community celebrates academic excellence, and rewards those who continually strive to do their best. Academic Scholarships recognise excellence in Mathematics, English and holistic academic all-round achievement.

Some scholarships are means-tested.

Scholarships provide full or partial remission of boarding and/or day fees.

Applicants are required to sit the ACER Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program to be eligible for academic scholarships.

Music scholarships.

Performing Arts at the College is vibrant and energetic. Whether through beautiful liturgical music at Mass, the rousing chorus of boys at our Headmaster’s Assembly or simply in our students’ everyday pursuit of musical passion, music holds a special place at ¹ú²ú̽»¨.

Applications for 2026 Music scholarships are now closed. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an audition at the College on 23 May 2025.

¹ú²ú̽»¨ enrol scholarships & bursaries bursaries

St Joseph’s College, in partnership with the St Joseph’s College Foundation, offers several means-tested bursaries to provide support with boarding and tuition fees for families.

Financial assistance is available to new and continuing boarding students who epitomise the ¹ú²ú̽»¨ spirit of striving for better things and who, without such assistance, would not be able to attend St Joseph’s College.

Preference is given to students commencing in Years 10 to 12.

Applications for 2026 general bursary support are closed for 2025.

Applications for 2026 Indigenous scholarships are now open and will close on 30 May 2025.
